The Deity of Jesus

"For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His Majesty." - I Peter 1:17

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (I John 5:7).

"I and My Father are One" (John 10:30).

"I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending" (Rev. 1:8).

Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith (Hebrews 12:2) .

"Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am He that lives and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death" (Rev. 1:18).

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29)

In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature (Colossians 1:14,15).

For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist (Colossians 1:16,17).

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9).

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached into the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory (I Timothy 3:16).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not persih, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:16,17).

But unto the Son He said, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom (Hebrews 1:8, Psalm 45:6).

His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:5-11).

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid, to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (II Corinthians 4:3,4).

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved (Acts 16:31).
