Greetings in the precious name of Jesus!
The heart and passion of our ministry here at Café Logos is to see people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and to see the Christian fellowship of believers return to the simplicity and zeal of the first century Christian church.
We hope that the materials on this website will help in achieving that goal. We want every believer in Messiah Jesus to have an “Abundant entrance” (II Peter 1:11) into the Kingdom of God, that none would be ashamed at His coming (I John 2:28). We want all of God’s children to someday hear their Lord say, “Well done My good and faithful servant,” (Matthew 25:21).
The Apostles prophesied of an apostasy in the last days (II Thessalonians 2:3) and we are witnessing the fruit of that apostasy now as we watch churches and ministries fall away from the first tenets of our faith. But we believe that there is a remnant, as there has always been within God’s church that has and will keep the faith intact and will be preserved through the storms and tribulations to come. We are here to encourage that remnant and be a sort of lighthouse for those struggling in that storm of apostasy. This is your website.
We are non-denominational in spirit and we believe in following Jesus and His founding Apostles as closely as possible. For this reason we reject any doctrines that were added during and after the first century that contradict what Jesus and the apostles taught.
We use the Apostle's Creed as our statement of faith because it is simple and we believe that the God who said we must come to Him as little children, would not require little children to adhere to a complicated statement of faith.
