The opposite of fear is trust. When we trust the Lord, we have His peace. Faith is believing in God - trust is living our belief.
Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusts in Thee (Isaiah 26:3).
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love (I John 4:18).
For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of asound mind (II Timothy 1:7).

The Lord redeems the soul of His servants: and none of them that put their trust in Him shall be desolate (Psalm 34:22). He is a shield to them that put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5).
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation (Isaiah 12:2). For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
